What To Expect At Your Appointment
We ask that you please arrive with no makeup around your eyes and to have freshly washed lashes. The esthetician will start by having you fill out a little bit of paper work! Just some basic information, a cancelation form, and a consent form! (Please try to arrive ten minutes early to complete paperwork) She will then take you into a private room where the consultation and service will take place. The esthetician will ask you some simple questions about your eyes and lifestyle. For example, if you wear glasses or contacts, and how you like your makeup to look. This is when we will discuss what look and length would look best on you. Once the lash specialist and you agree on the look your going for you will then lie down on a comfortable massage bed and the procedure will begin. She will ask you to look up towards her and then proceed to apply a gel eye pad to your lower lids. This pad is used to hold down your lower eyelashes so your uppers and lowers won't get glued together. The esthetician will then add a few thin pieces of paper medical tape ontop of the pads. This part of the service might feel awkward your first time, but after she is done with this part, your eyes will remain closed the rest of the process which will be very comfortable. She will then begin to apply your extensions. The whole process is painless, most clients don't even realize when we start actually applying the extensions. The lash specialist will pick up each extension one at a time, dip half of the extension into black glue, and carefully glue it to the top of a natural eyelash. Each extension is placed one by one until none of your own lashes are left without an extension applied to the top of it. The full set takes about two hours. At the end of the service your esthetician will puff your eyes with air to help dry your extensions. After this, she will remove your eyepads, brush your new lashes, and hand you a mirror! This is the moment you begin your new addiction!
